KnowledgeVision for eLearning: On-Demand Training Content Comes to Life

Concord, MA (PRWEB) January 27, 2012

KnowledgeVision Systems, a leading provider of cloud-based tools and services for creating online, on-demand and live multimedia presentations, has introduced KnowledgeVision for eLearning, a powerful new tool for online learning and development.

At the heart of KnowledgeVision's new offering is KVStudio 4.1, the world's most powerful and easy-to-use tool for synchronizing video, presentation slides, just-in-time footnotes, and navigation. KVStudio's new features include support for SCORM, the worldwide standard for sharable multimedia content, which enables any KnowledgeVision presentation to be incorporated easily into most corporate Learning Management Systems.

"Recent research shows that employee training is still the #1 application for corporate video," said KnowledgeVision CEO Michael Kolowich. "And more than half of all companies surveyed use video for customer education. KnowledgeVision is making a major commitment to these critical applications, with tools that make creation and deployment of rich learning content easier than ever." Kolowich was referring to Interactive Media Strategies' "Business Video Market Forecast, 2011-2105", which found that of more than 1000 companies surveyed, 61% were deploying video for employee training and 52% were using video for customer training.

"We're using KnowledgeVision to address the dual challenges of time and distance in corporate learning within a far-reaching organization," said Kirstin Lynde, Director of Learning and Development for Randstad, one of the world's largest staffing and HR services companies. "KnowledgeVision's tools make it easy for us to take our best presentations and trainers and project them far and wide, and its new SCORM features make this content snap in to our Learning Management System so its use can be tracked on an individual learner level."

"When educating customers and helping them be successful with our products, it's vitally important to create interactive content that engages them on as many levels as possible," said Rebekkah Hilgraves, Instructional Design Technology and Infrastructure Manager at Marketo, the marketing automation company. "We recognize that different people acquire knowledge differently, and our vision for learning includes addressing as many of those modalities as possible. KnowledgeVision's tools make it easy to design, deploy, and track learning assets in a way that helps us understand not only what they're learning, but how."

KnowledgeVision for eLearning is immediately available from KnowledgeVision Systems. The company offers a fully-functional 30-day free trial so that learning content creators may use it to create their own learning assets.

Londoners continue to embrace the festival and enjoy shows, workshops, film screenings and even have a go at being funny themselves in the Funniest Person in London Contest.

Entertaining, fun and full of laughs the festival continues to delight audiences for four days of laughter with over 120 comedians and performers descending on London for 16 shows and events. The festival's mandate to recognize and celebrate Canadian achievements in comedy at home and abroad is the heart of the festival while showcasing Canada's homegrown stars.

All comedy, of all kinds, 24-hours-a-day, is the mandate of The Comedy Network, Canada's first-and-only specialty comedy service. Launched in October 1997, The Comedy Network offers an unrivalled slate of original Canadian productions, with 44 per cent of its revenues being reinvested in Canadian programming. To more than 4.8 million subscribers, The Comedy Network broadcasts, uncut and uncensored, an eclectic mix of stand-up, sketch, improvisation, and animated comedy as well as topical comedy talk shows, game shows and classic situation comedies.
